I tinkered again with my weighting of recency and page views to correct for the weak positive correlation between page views and days since a post was published (recency is now much less than half the overall score, because a 50% weight inflated the popularity of the posts from my coverage of Research 2010).
 
And what was the least popular post? An updated roundup of last year's AMA Market Research Conference with the theme: Each Respondent is a Riddle, Wrapped in a Mystery, Inside an Enigma. Still a thought worth considering.
